Under the Digital Agriculture Mission, the central government has achieved the target of creating 11 crore Farmer IDs five months ahead of the March 31, 2027 deadline. Through this system, more than 6 crore farmers have received direct benefits from various schemes. This initiative will eliminate repeated document verification, making agricultural credit, crop insurance, and procurement at minimum support prices more accessible and transparent.डिजिटल कृषी अभियानांतर्गत (Digital Agriculture Mission) केंद्र सरकारने ३१ मार्च २०२७ च्या अंतिम मुदतीपूर्वी पाच महिने आधीच ११ कोटी शेतकरी ओळखपत्रे (Farmer IDs) तयार करण्याचे उद्दिष्ट गाठले आहे. या प्रणालीमुळे ६ कोटींहून अधिक शेतकऱ्यांना विविध योजनांचे थेट लाभ मिळाले आहेत. या उपक्रमामुळे कागदपत्रांची वारंवार पडताळणी टळून कृषी पतपुरवठा, पीक विमा आणि हमीभाव खरेदी अधिक सुलभ व पारदर्शक होणार आहे.
