This Privacy Policy explains how Dnyansetu ("we", "us"), operated by Varsha Jagadale, collects, uses and protects your information when you use https://dnyansetu.app. We collect only what we need to run the Service, and we never sell your personal data.

- Account details: your email address (used for one-time-code login), phone number if you provide it, and your name if you choose to add it.
- Study data: the exam(s) you choose, your quiz and mock-test answers, scores, progress and bookmarks.
- Payment records: Razorpay order/payment ID, plan, amount, date and payment status. We do not receive or store card numbers, UPI PINs or net-banking passwords — these are handled entirely by Razorpay.
- Technical data: basic logs (such as IP address, browser type and error reports) generated by our hosting provider to keep the Service secure and working.
2. How we use your information
- To sign you in and keep your account secure;
- To show quizzes for your chosen exam, save your progress and display your performance analysis;
- To activate the plan you purchased and keep records of payments as required by law;
- To reply to your support requests and send essential service emails (e.g. login codes, payment receipts);
- To improve our content and fix problems, using aggregated, non-identifying statistics.
3. Cookies
We use cookies and similar browser storage only for your login session, your light/dark theme and your preferences (such as language or selected exam). We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
4. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with providers that help us run the Service:
- Razorpay — payment processing (subject to Razorpay's own privacy policy);
- Supabase — database and authentication;
- Vercel — website hosting;
- An email delivery service — to send login codes and receipts.
These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside India. We may also disclose information if required by law or a valid government request.
5. Data security and retention
Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access to our database is restricted. We keep your account and study data while your account is active. Payment records may be retained for the period required under Indian tax and accounting laws even after account deletion.
6. Your rights and account deletion
- You can request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account by emailing varshajagadale93@gmail.com from your registered email address. We will act on deletion requests within 30 days.
- You may stop using the Service at any time.
7. Children
The Service is meant for exam aspirants. Users under 18 should use it with the knowledge of a parent or guardian, and any payment must be made with their consent.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website.
